Be@rbrick was first released in 2001 by Medicom Toy in Tokyo, Japan, and is now one of the most collected designer toys in the world.
The "Brave Version" figurine, which comes in a supersized 1000 percent set, has a determined look on its face instead of the welcoming grin of its predecessor. The rest of its body, however, is unaltered: its ears are transparent with black spikes to imitate Astro Boy's hair, its waist is covered in two-tone green and black shorts, and its feet are covered in characteristic red boots.
